Game Over, Rock for REAL at Booth 4609, Hall C

Nashville, Tennessee…January 16, 2011...Many know that “imitation is the highest form of flattery” and those attending NAMM 2012 in Anaheim, California this week will be able to witness the real, original and critically acclaimed Guitar Apprentice developed by award-winning Legacy Learning Systems in Nashville, Tennessee. The product’s tagline “Game Over, Rock For Real” takes on a whole new meaning at this week’s upcoming convention.
It’s this authentic Guitar Apprentice that has gone on to make waves this past holiday season and is positioned to take on competitors in a very big way in 2012.
Guests of NAMM 2012 should be aware that the “real” Guitar Apprentice, which has been sold in Guitar Centers nationwide and is distributed by Hal Leonard Corp., will showcase the animated guitar-learning product in Booth 4609, Hall C at the Anaheim Convention Center. The real “Guitar Apprentice” also features original recordings from legendary rock-n-roller Randy Bachman who took his hit “Takin’ Care of Business” to an entirely new level in the Rock Hits edition. Guests can rock out to the original rock tune as if they are really playing with Randy Bachman at the booth and take part in some exclusive promotions.
The “real” Guitar Apprentice takes hit guitar songs and breaks them down into 15 different levels of playing. From the very start, the user is playing great guitar songs with a full band, supplying only a chord or two at first. The user can then work on songs at any desired speed and when it is completed will be playing 100% of the song - including solos. At every level, Guitar Apprentice shows the user visually, exactly what and when to play at the pace he or she desires. Guitar Apprentice includes such iconic songs as “Hey Jude,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Get Back,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” “You Really Got Me,” “Shine,” “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” and many others.
As part of the plan to launch innovative new products and satisfy consumer demand, Legacy Learning Systems has announced a strategic alliance with rock icon Zakk Wylde. As the inaugural signature artist of the company, Wylde will be featured on the first-ever signature artist edition of Guitar Apprentice to launch in 2012. Original music by the legendary guitarist and front man for Black Label Society will be featured on the upcoming signature series and will give any aspiring musician a chance to learn and play music from one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Details of the new signature series can be seen at NAMM in the booth. In addition, Rusty Paul, son of the legendary Les Paul, will make a stop by the Guitar Apprentice booth at NAMM to sign autographs, engage visitors into the Guitar Apprentice experience and talk about the upcoming Les Paul Award ceremonies taking place at the TEC Awards. Paul continues his father’s legacy through the Les Paul Foundation who may be partnering with Legacy Learning Systems in 2012 for their on-going mission to support music education.

Guitar Apprentice will launch a NAMM exclusive promotion on site during the convention. Any attendee can come by the Guitar Apprentice booth #4609 in Hall C and pick up a commemorative Guitar Apprentice t-shirt. The free t-shirts will be available from Thursday-Saturday while supplies last at the booth. Attendees will be asked to engage in one of the most innovative social media contests at NAMM this year. Anyone wearing the official Guitar Apprentice t-shirt can take photos of themselves inside any other vendor’s booth. They can then post their photos via Twitter and the attendee tweeting the best photo with the most Twitter fan re-tweets will have the chance to win any of several exceptional prizes being offered which include a commemorative electric guitar, gift packs of the highly-acclaimed Learn & Master series or Guitar Apprentice.  Interested attendees just need to stop by the booth to get their t-shirt and learn how the contest works.
